President Clinton's legacy might end up being better than what most people think. Bill Clinton did more to get a Republican Congress elected than any one Republican did. Bill Clinton has done more to destroy groups and organizations such as N.O.W. (National Organization of Woman) and many other liberal organizations. Not to mention the awakening of many Christian Democrats that are moving to the Republican Party.  None of that was his plan.

President Clinton's dilemma of now being tried in the press has to come about. President Clinton made this necessary for trial by press with all of his denials made in the press. Keep in mind that every time President Clinton makes a public appearance he is influencing the public. While others do not have that power to get the attention of the press.

Look at all of the others who have been tried in the press Marv Albert, O.J. Simpson, Timothy McVeigh, Terry Nichols and now President Clinton. I had really felt like they should have not been tried in the press except President Clinton. The President and the First Lady have been using the press to further their agenda's in Congress and across the country. They both have tried to demonize Christians, Republicans and other religious peoples calling them right wing extremists. Anyone who didn't see their view on homosexuality, welfare, taxes, etc was considered a cold and heartless person who didn't deserve to live.

The tape of testimony made to the grand jury by Clinton is set to be released to the public on Monday September 21, 1998. There is only one thing that could stop the tape from being released and that is the resignation of President Clinton before Monday.

Let's think about what was in the Starr Report that was sent to Congress and what is reported to be on that videotape and let's remember these words spoken 26 years ago:

"Yes, the president should resign. He has lied to the American people, time and time again, and betrayed their trust. Since he has admitted guilt, there is no reason to put the American people through an impeachment. He will serve absolutely no purpose in finishing out his term, the only possible solution is for the president to save some dignity and resign." -12th Congressional District Hopeful William Jefferson Clinton, during the Nixon investigations in 1972.

So the old saying he who lives by the sword shall die by the sword. In the case of Bill Clinton just substitute the word "press" for "sword" and that will give you the downfall of a President. I can't help but think that was the way it was planed by the authors of the Constitution when they gave us the Bill of Rights. Granting the freedoms of the press to prevent a would be dictator from ruling over this country and granting Congress the powers to impeach such a person.
